S.T.E.M.
For the last term we have been doing S.T.E.M. challenges. To start with, everyone had to design something that could float with an action figure (we decided that Barbie could be action - especially as she travels a lot!)
Next, we looked at catapults. The criteria was that the catapult they designed had to be able to throw a small block. We had so many fabulous designs!
We also designed a musical instrument... some designed drums out of some interesting recycling, others designed guitars, rattles, a triangle.
This term we have played with static electricity some more. Then, we are making crystals and creating our very own marble run. Watch this space for how it pans out.
